Lev is comfortable with and able to connect with people of all walks of life, levels of education, professions, and cultural backgrounds. Lev has advanced training in couples therapy and sex therapy. He has helped many clients with reconnecting, healing, growing, and flourishing in their relationships. He also works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and work-life balance. Lev customizes his approach to each person or couple using a variety of theories and techniques. He is committed and passionate about his clients’ well-being, healing, growth, physical and mental health, and quality of life.
Lev helps his clients with relationship issues, premarital counseling, communication skills, intimacy issues, healing from affairs, anxiety, anxiety attacks, depression, stress, sleep challenges, low self-esteem, ACOA issues, life transitions, work challenges, grief, interpersonal issues, and family struggles. Lev has completed many intensive trainings in his 12 years of experience: Gottman Institute Method for Couples Therapy Level One and Two, Gottman Institute Method to Treating Affairs and Trauma, Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), Sex Therapy Postgraduate Training Institute of New York.
One of his strengths is problem solving with his clients regarding specific “what to do” questions. By brainstorming together, he helps his individual clients and couples make a plan for moving forward. Lev holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a Clinical focus in Mental Health from The University of Maryland, School of Social Work. He has lived in the United States for more than 30 years.
