Rosa Fakhrai

LCPC, NCC

Rosa (she/her) works together with her clients to figure out how to move forward in finding a sense of peace, well-being and balance in their lives.

She loves to encourage people and feels highly motivated to support them to relieve symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions. Rosa understands that for some people, anxiety feels like pressure to do everything for everyone, while for others, there is an internal sense of worry. In either case, counseling can help. She loves helping clients to learn some specific, creative coping strategies to help clients and their families start to feel more balanced, worry less and work toward their goals.

She encourages her clients to take the necessary steps to create balance in their lives by promoting the development of skills to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression in a safe space that is culturally sensitive and non-judgmental.

Talk therapy and creative modalities can be used at times in Rosa’s work with her clients, depending on what works for her clients. If you are feeling like you could benefit from a warm, empathic, safe space to express yourself and learn how to manage your symptoms effectively or if you have any questions, please call or text (240) 274-5680 or send an email to Admin@HealingLLC.com.

More Information about Rosa:

What are your specialties and why are they important to you?
My areas of specialty are depression, anxiety, and trauma. These are important to me because they lie at the heart of human suffering, yet with the right support, healing is possible. I’m drawn to this work because I’ve seen how transformative it can be when people feel seen, safe, and empowered to move through their pain toward a fuller life.

What do you love most about being a counselor?

What I love most about being a therapist is the deep connection I get to build with my clients. It’s a privilege to witness their healing journey, to hold space for their pain, and to celebrate their growth. Being part of that process—no matter how small the step—feels meaningful and humbling every day.

What areas of therapy are you passionate about?
I’m most passionate about helping people work through depression, anxiety, and trauma. With my background in art and teaching, I’m especially drawn to the creative and transformative aspects of healing. I value the depth of this work and the opportunity to support my clients as they reconnect with themselves and their inner strength.

What are your favorite self-care practices?
Swimming, walking in nature, and cooking are my favorite self-care practices. They help me stay grounded, present, and connected to myself in a nourishing way.
