Caitlin strives to create a warm, non-judgmental and safe environment to allow clients the space to work through struggles and transitions in their life. Caitlin believes that everyone has the strength and resilience to work through challenges in life and her job is simply to hold space for your exploration and walk alongside you on your journey.
Her passions include individuals struggling with substance use issues, anxiety, depression, survivors of trauma, eating disorders, PTSD, phobias and couples. Caitlin utilizes a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach that integrates CBT, EMDR, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Emotional Freedom Technique, Internal Family Systems, Intuitive Eating and Mindfulness.
Caitlin received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work. There she specialized in Clinical-Behavioral Health and was selected to be a part of cohort of students that received federally funded specialized training in integrated behavioral health and interdisciplinary social work. In addition to her Masters, she is also a 200 Hour Registered Yoga teacher with an additional certification in Trauma Informed Yoga.
When Caitlin is not working she enjoys spending time with her pets, working with her Cricut, practicing yoga, and spending time outside in nature.
