Crisis:If you are in crisis and are thinking about hurting yourself or someone else, call or walk in the Mongomery County Crisis Center now at: Emergency:If this is a medical or mental health emergency you can also immediately call 911 or proceed to your nearest Emergency Room. Abuse:If you or someone you know is being physically abused or threatened by a spouse or significant other, you can contact the Crisis Center 24 hours a day by calling (240) 777-4673 or (240) 777-4357. The services are also available on a walk-in basis at 1301 Piccard Drive in Rockville. The individual will meet with a therapist and discuss the problem. Together they plan appropriate follow-up services which may include counseling, safe shelter, and legal steps that can be taken. |
