Cathy uses talk therapy and art therapy to help her clients, who are often children and teens. She uses connection, empathy and creative expression to bolster healthy self-concepts. She has over 13 years of mental health experience working with youth and adults of all life stages and situations. Her areas of focus are child/tween/teen stress, artistic expression in therapy, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She utilizes an approach to therapy that is strengths based, holistic, and grounded in theory. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Master of Science in Art Therapy and is a trained children’s yoga instructor through Childlight Yoga.

Art expression has been a natural extension of Cathy’s own personal journey, and she is passionate about empowering others to discover healing through creativity. Cathy believes that every individual possesses innate strengths, resilience, and courage to live a fulfilling life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, painting, yoga and spending time with family.
